Surface Deep tells the story of a young girl who lives in a siloed, underground city. The sheltered society, plagued by fear of the outside world, has grown blind and brainwashed. Manipulated by a fear-mongering elder, the girl is sent on a dangerous trip to the surface, her mind racing with nightmarish thoughts about what demons she may find waiting for her . . .
